Tybee City Limits, the Best in Live Local Music, wraps up its first full year showcasing the best Coastal Empire bands and singer-songwriters with two of the hottest acts to ever rock the stage. For this end-of-year holiday season show, we bring back Jason Bible and the Train Wrecks and Ray Lundy's Bottles & Cans.
The Train Wrecks are a hard-working band of songwriters and performers who love nothing more than good songs and a good show. They deliver a dynamic, original blend of Americana-ranging from outlaw alt-country and bluegrass to rootsy rock and beyond, all with a distinctive Southern swagger.
Also on this anniversary bill, we are bringing back Ray Lundy and Bottles & Cans. Known as a "blues band," this unpredictable group of immensely talented musicians and singers draws also draws on the rich traditions of American folk, country and rock to create their raucous, swampy rave-ups and soulful ballads.
We're pulling Jason Bible out front to open the show with a couple of his own solo tunes, and then closing out the year with a mash up of both bands in a raucous farewell to a year of fabulous live music.
Sunday, Dec. 18, 7 pm. Tickets: $15 adults, $5 children
