The Town of Seabrook Island is again sponsoring a performance by the Charleston Symphony Orchestra.

(In the event of rain, the performance will take place at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 3871 Betsy Kerrison Parkway on Johns Island.)

The hour-long event is free. Bring your own lawn chairs or blankets. Parking at the Lake House will be limited, so carpooling and alternate modes of transportation such as walking, biking, and LSVs are recommended.

75 SIPOA Gate passes will be available for off-island visitors who wish to attend the concert. The passes must be picked up at ​​Seabrook Island Town Hall, 2001 Seabrook Island Road, during the Town’s normal business hours (Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm).

The 47-piece orchestra’s Masterworks portion of the program will be conducted by Ken Lam, Music Director of the CSO. Yuriy Bekker, CSO’s Principal Pops Conductor, will conduct the Pops portion of the program. The broad range of outstanding music will include pieces by Beethoven, Dvořák, and J. Strauss. There will also be more contemporary music such as the Fiddler on the Roof Medley.

Those who were able to join us for the Orchestra’s 2017 concert on Seabrook Island will appreciate what an exciting and entertaining program this will be!
