This is sure to be a very special evening at the Tybee Post Theater!
Paul Thorn needs little, if any introduction. He and his band have performed at the Savannah Music Festival several times in recent years. He’s also appeared on major television shows such as Late Night with Conan O’Brien and Jimmy Kimmel Live, been the subject of numerous National Public Radio features and charted multiple times on the Billboard Top 100 and Americana Radio Charts.
With 20 years of writing, touring, and entertaining under his belt, he shows no sign of slowing down with his new record, Don’t Let the Devil Ride, breaking genre barriers and topping charts, putting a new twist on his already-entertaining live show.
Our opening band, Rusty Barkley and the Part Time Blues Band is well known in and around the Charlotte, NC area. Rusty has been called the best guitarist on the east coast and to hear him play will convince you. He seems to tap into some source that just flows through him, particularly on some of his extended jams. All of the band members are accomplished musicians who have grown up with rock and blues music and now play with a passion that comes from the heart.
The proceeds from all ticket sales will be donated to “Tybee Wishes,” a local charity dedicated to helping our neighbors in need; and to the Tybee Bar Church.
Sat. Jan. 11, 7 pm Tickets $50
