An enthusiastic packed house declared the Part-Time Blues Band awesome when they opened for Paul Thorn in January and left the crowd wanting more … so they’re back at the Tybee Post Theater to perform their own full show. And we bet they’ll get another standing ovation!

Whether playing blues classics by artists such as B.B. King, Willie Dixon and Muddy Waters or popular tunes by the Allman Brothers, Eric Clapton and Ray Charles, Rusty Barkley and the Part-Time Blues Band will grab your attention and hang on tight from their very first song.

Rusty has been called the best guitarist on the east coast and to hear him play will convince you.  He seems to tap into some source that just flows through him, particularly on some of his extended jams. All of the band members are accomplished musicians who have grown up with rock and blues music and now play with a passion that comes from the heart.
