Come spend an evening with two Nashville singer-songwriter legends, whose songs have topped country music charts recorded by nearly every music superstar in Nashville, from Garth Brooks, Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard to Trisha Yearwood, Patty Loveless and Emmylou Harris.
Tony Arata, born in Savannah, raised on Tybee and writing songs in Nashville for decades, he’ll share some of his classic No. 1 hits, such as “The Dance,” recorded by Garth Brooks, “Here I am,” for Patty Loveless and “I’m Holding My Own” for Lee Roy Parnell. Arata has also recorded three solo albums of his own featuring new songs, covers and guest appearance by Nashville’s finest, including Loveless and Brooks, who calls Arata “the king of soul in songwriting.”
Joining Arata is the stunning Texas Tornado herself, Leslie Satcher, who has written hit songs for some of music’s most iconic artists, such as the No. 1 “Troubadour” for George Strait, “Heartache” for Pam Tillis and “Mission of Love” for Travis Tritt. She’s also writing for contemporary artists, including Jason Aldan, Blake Shelton, and Kellie Pickler’s barn-burning hit “Tough.”
And you never know who else might join these two Nashville friends up on stage in this exclusive musical fundraiser for the Post. Stay tuned!
And please join us for a pre-concert champagne party and meet-and-greet with the artists, beginning at 7 pm!
